Narotham Reddy Thudi, M.D.

Education

Dr. Thudi recieved his bachelors degree in medicine and surgery at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, in 1993, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and was chief resident at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey. Dr. Thudi completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, in 2004. Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Dr. Thudi was in private practice in Dallas.

Accolades & Memberships

Dr. Thudi is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has published various research papers including End Tidal CO2, written during his residency and selected as the best paper by the local chapter of the American College of Physicians as well as one of the five best papers for oral presentation at the National American College of Physicians meeting in Atlanta in 2001. Dr. Thudi's research paper Autologous Stem Cell Transplant in Relapsed Hodgkin Lymphoma was selected for presentation at the 2005 American Society of Hematology meeting.

Research Interest

Narotham Reddy Thudi, M.D., has particular interest in myelodysplastic syndrome, coagulation disorders, lung cancer, GI malignancies, breast cancer and multiple myeloma and lymphomas.

Other Information

Dr. Thudi and his wife have one son and he enjoys reading history, national geography, astrophysics, watching basketball and traveling. While in college he played soccer, cricket and basketball.
