Dr. Oommen graduated from Kasturba Medical College in India with high honors. He completed his residency at Texas Tech University Medical Center where he was the Chief Resident and then accepted a position as Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University Health Science Center at El Paso. He completed his Hematology-Oncology-Transplantation fellowship at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Oommen was inducted to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2003 and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Texas Medical Association and the Tarrant County Medical Society. Dr. Oommen was listed as a "Top Doc" in Fort Worth, Texas magazine in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Research Interest
