Emergency & After Hours

If you experience a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911 immediately. When you arrive at the emergency room, ask the staff to call your cancer center physician. Use the cancer center search to find your center's after hours phone number.

If you need immediate consultation or advice regarding a serious, but non-life-threatening condition, do not hesitate to call us.

If you call after business hours, the on-call physician will be paged and will respond quickly. Since your call may not be returned by your personal physician, be prepared to provide the following information:

• Your diagnosis
• Your chemotherapy drugs
• Your temperature
• Your pharmacy phone number
